"A Rare Find"
A Classic Willys Sedan
With only 6 of this classic design left in existence, Jim and Susan Halsey are the proud owners of a beautifully restored 1933 Willys sedan delivery truck. We were initially going to race this car," said Jim, "but when we discovered how rare it was, we decided not to." In 1995, they found the car tucked away in a garage in Indianapolis. "It was just a hulk of a car, just a body and a chassis. It started life as a delivery truck for a bakery."

Jim and Susan spent 5 painstaking years at their home in Easton, Maryland restoring their Willys truck to its present day luster. They did most of the rebuilding themselves, including the mechanical and electrical work. Tom Blades, a rising star in the bodywork and painting field, is credited with putting the finishing touches on this priceless vehicle. Now-a-days Tom's reputation keeps his body shop in Easton completely flooded. Jim, a former naval aviator, enjoys cruising with Susan, "We've been to a few shows, but mainly we just cruise in this, it's what we built it for."
