Memories of a
Bygone Era
1934 Ford Coupe

First the artistic lines of the grill catch your eye, then you are dazzled by brilliant shades of candy apple red over gold. Ronald Jones, returning to Ocean City for his second year, proudly displayed his classic 1934 Ford Coupe. "Tim Gladhill from the House of Color in Waynesboro, PA painted it," said Ronald. "I usually drive it to shows around Hagerstown, Maryland, close to Boonsboro where I live."

Ronald has been rebuilding this classic gem for about 31/2 years now. He has shortened the body a few inches and installed a 302 Ford SVO motor. "The inmates where I work at a correctional institute did all of the interior work for me," he commented. "I'd take the panels and the seats over to the institute and the inmates did the upholstery to learn how to do it; learn the trade."

Ronald's 1934 Ford Coupe portrays the glamour of a bygone era and was a handsome addition to the Cruisin' OC show.
